Christine Wilkes Beninati has been professionally involved in intellectual property law since 1993.  She has experience in a full range of intellectual property law matters, with a particular emphasis on domestic and international patent prosecution, strategic patent portfolio development and management, opinions and client counseling.  This legal experience has centered around a wide range of technologies including, for example, the metallurgical, chemical and mechanical arts.  Examples of more particular subject matter include:  gas turbine engine technology such as superalloy compositions, thermal barrier coatings, composites, repair processes, airfoil design, single crystal and wing/pylon design; cosmetics such as kits and formulations; research tools; pharmaceutical formulations; thin films; textile products; batteries; food compositions; surface modification technology; automotive components; biodegradable prosthetic devices; power cables; hydrogen storage beds; chemical processes; polycarbonates; electronic devices; and others. Christine also has experience in trademarks, conducting due diligence investigations and providing other litigation support, as well as in house litigation experience.

Christine’s previous legal positions include an associate position at Kenyon & Kenyon in New York, as well as a non-equity partner position at the IP boutique of Harrington & Smith in Connecticut.  Christine also brings an in house perspective to her practice having begun her legal career at United Technologies Corporation working at both the Research Center and Pratt & Whitney.  Christine earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Villanova University.  She also earned a Juris Doctor degree and Master of Intellectual Property Law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
